The current licensing system is complicated, ambiguous with pricing that hinders creativity.
Therefore we have created one very simple licence that covers the use of both Jpegs and Tiff/Psd Files with identical terms & conditions, its all about keeping it simple and priced in line with the current challenging trading conditions.
✓ There are NO restrictions on the type of physical product you can produce
✓ There are NO restrictions on the amount of product you can produce
✓ You can use the design for personal and commercial use
✓ Any design you purchase will be royalty free and will be sold on a non-exclusive Licence
✓ The design will be exclusive to The Ministry of Pattern ® sales platform
✓ The design will be royalty free, once purchased your non-exclusive licence will never expire
✓ The only restriction is that you cannot duplicate, sell or sub licence the design (as stated clearly in our licence agreement)
Standard – Printable JPEG – Non Exclusive 40 Euro
Design can be used for anything from cads to unlimited production
In repeat /seamless -The file will be high resolution that will be ready for printing
The design will be sent as a compressed JPEG file without any layers
The designs construction exceeds the minimum 180 dpi for printing digitally
N.B.
As the file is compressed you will only be able to change the overall size and colour of the design by using the default settings in Photoshop.
If you want to be able to make full colour changes or modify the design or individual elements you will need to purchase the premium layered tiff file.
Premium – JPEG & PSD/TIFF layered file – Non Exclusive 85 Euro
Design can be used for anything from cads to unlimited production

The design will be sent as a JPG & as a layered TIFF file
The designs construction exceeds the minimum 180 dpi for printing digitally
Points To Consider!
The non-exclusive licence grants the purchaser the right to use the design while the copyright is retained by The Ministry of Pattern ®
The design and all colourations will not be deleted from the sales platform.
This is one of the ways that The Ministry of Pattern ® are trying to make our designs and colourations more affordable and accessible to a wider customer base around the world.
When you open a design up on your computer or device the correct scale can only be understood by opening the design using the photoshop software.
Please remember colours on your tablet, phone or computer monitor will not look the same due to the differing technologies being used by the brand manufacturer.
We advise that you should make a sample first before going ahead with full production to ensure that you are happy with the final appearance of the design that will be printed.
Digital printing has come a long way and you can print onto nearly every quality from fabric to wall coverings using this process which will also allow you to edit your colours very easily.
