Re-Imagined

Baroque inspired prints are always on the radar when it comes to a bit of escapism. With the 90s trend being an ongoing influence, we're loving these new catwalk interpretations by Vetements for SS22 and Ganni Resort22.

These twists are the new conversationals that keep in step with the baroque colourways but with a re-imagined play on design.

We're taking a look at how designers are referencing Baroque in a modern way with black and gold and a softer take in feminine colours.

Versace led the way for Baroque in the 90s and it still continues to be one of its iconic signature prints across clothing and accessories.

Ganni Resort22 fully embraced Rococo swirls and Baroque ropes.

Ganni Resort22 adds an element of fun that makes us smile :)

There's just something about Ganni that interprets prints in a contemporary way that makes it their own. As print influencers for contemporary womenswear this is definitely a trend to keep an eye on.

As an alternative to the signature black background we're loving these light ground options which are looking softer for summer. As seen at Veronica Beard Resort22, the update in colourway looks easier and sophisticated to wear, having an increased customer appeal.

River Island with the chains printed on a fine blue stripe has a fresh take on Baroque. Definitely one of our high street favourites.

For colour inspiration these Gucci foulards are looking deliciously summery and feminine. The fine style of design is beautifully enhanced by the shadows which adds a delicate depth to the print.
